Class 3

Class 3 is the home of our Year 5 and 6 children. Whilst we work hard in these final years of primary education we also ensure that we have lots of fun! We focus on Maths and English to prepare Year 6 for the national tests, however, we also use creative learning contexts to enrich the rest of the National Curriculum. Adventure Learning is always popular with our children and they get very enthusiastic about learning outside. Emphasis is placed on preparing the children for the next stage of their educational journey and events like Transition Camp, residentials and numerous sporting events and fixtures really help with this.  

Children in Class 3 enjoy the extra responsibilities they are given such as leading our three crews, being sports leaders and leading in concerts and services. They thrive in these rolls and really enjoy helping and nurturing the younger children. Positive memories are created that will hopefully stay with our pupils for the rest of their lives!
